This is a master copy of John Singer Sargent’s 1892 portrait of Lady Agnew of Lochnaw. Sargent’s original is 50” x 40”. This one is 48” x 36”. ✨ I studied John Singer Sargent for many months before and while painting Lady Agnew. I felt as though I was having a conversation with a great master from the past. I would keep this piece forever and ever if I could, but my home doesn’t have the space for it. This should go to someone who loves the bravura of Sargent’s brushwork! It is a delight to look upon!
